Manufacturing Mode after motherboard change

I am helping a friend fix his Inspiron 15 5584 and get it working again. I am looking for the service tag # to get out of Manufacturing Mode. Nothing on tag, not bootable. The SSD was locked with lost bitlocker password. The laptop doesn't like coffee. The coffee fried the motherboard and RAM.. He didn't register it on dell website. He has none of the paperwork or original packaging (it's several years old). No way to get past Manufacturing mode. It says the Service Tag is not there and needs entered. Alt+F does not work. F1 takes me to the service tag entry but I don't have it.. Can't get into BIOS with F2 on boot. No way to get answers on the support site. I need some sort of way to re-enable this laptop. I read may Dell can generate a new service tag? No way to get answers without service tag. No support phone number either. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions? I've got too much in parts to back out now.

Assuming the field is open, you can enter any set of alphanumerics you want -- unless there's a label on the system with the original one, it's gone forever or locked up in the failed system board.

If you can't enter a service tag, something is wrong with the replacement board -- contact the seller to have it replaced under whatever warranty they provided.

I could enter the service tag number if I had a way to get it. All if the ways I can find it are unavailable.  Not on the service tag, no access to the SSD, not in his Dell account. Not sure what to do since I don't have a way to know it.
