New Hard Drive / SSD doesn't show up
i have a dell inspiron 1545 and im trying to install windows on it but any hard drive doesnt show up, but the old one does. Ive tried looking for drivers or storage controller but dont find anything that work. Anyone knows what i can do?

i know how to remove the hard drive, when i put in a new one, it doesnt show up and the windows installation doesnt pick it up either.

Try setting SATA Operation/Configuration to AHCI in the BIOS???

its already on AHCI.
