Replacement Battery Part Number for the old WDX0R Battery
Need a replacement battery for an Inspiron 15 7000 (7573)
The old battery is WDX0R (3-Cell 42WHr) …which does now not show up parts number-wise.
Online parts selection shows several different Dell 3-Cell 42WHr available under different part numbers...even though they visually appear to look the same. Prices differ from $39-89.
What compatible Part Number is the one that I need?
***Also...what is the replacement CMOS battery part number for this? May as well replace that while I am in there.

You won't find new OEM batteries available for this system, which is almost 10 years old. Anything OEM will be old stock and batteries do not benefit from aging.
Look for a reputable supplier of third party batteries on Amazon or similar.
CMOS battery is a CR-3032 with a connector on it.

I've looked at the plethora of aftermarket batteries and none seem to have the reserve life that the OEM batteries had...nor do they have the longevity life. The cell manufacturer for the old WDX0R is C-Tech (CTECHI) and I tried to find aftermarket batteries who use these high quality cells and none specifically state that they do. C-Tech makes battery cells for the Big Brands...including Dell.
If someone has had a good long-term experience with an aftermarket brand, I would like to hear of it & not have to depend on hundreds of suspicious reviews.
This is my backup laptop and it functions perfectly fine outside of the battery issue.

C-tech is a module manufacturer -- it does not manufacture the battery cells.
There are not that many actual cell manufacturers -- Sony, Panasonic, BYD, LG, Samsung, etc.
As for replacement battery packs, the choices will be limited. By 10 years, most systems are retired so the market for new battery packs is limited.
