XPS 13 9380 MOTHERBOARD PPID
Still considering replacing the above but having ordered the wrong one on Ebay how do I find the PPID please? Complete removal? I can't find a code on the top side of the motherboard.

Any board with the same CPU and RAM quantity you now have will be functionally identical. You don't need the same part number -- even among functionally identical boards, the part numbers will vary.
One source of parts

That said, also compare the cost of a complete used system - it may not be much more.

You can usually find the PPID on a white sticker located on the underside of the motherboard, so a partial removal may be needed to see it.It’s not printed on the top side, which is why it’s hard to locate without lifting the board. If you prefer not to open it fully, you can also share your service tag with Dell support and they can confirm the correct PPID for your model.
