Browser certificates?
Hi guys,
A second post from me but out on-site there is no one to ask
How do we resolve the certification warning messages from the OneFS Web when connecting via a web browser?
I have tried to create a self certificate using OneFS: How to replace or renew the SSL certificate used for the Isilon web administration interface https://support.emc.com/kb/16620" but this doesn't work. It does mention about requesting an SSL replacement or renewal from a Certificate Authority (CA)
Is there any other documentation that can help or does someone have an answer to hand?
Thanks in advance
Neil

The Web Administration interface does not have it's own SSL certificate, which is why you get the warning message before proceeding. This is perfectly safe and expected behavior, but I can understand why it would be a nice-to-have to clear that up. The KB here walks through the steps to do so, but they aren't exactly simple.

Hi Cadiletta.
Thanks for responding with the KB - I have sorted it now and it goes straight in without any prompting
.
It required using the KB and some other steps by the customer. I shall document it and post it here shortly in case anyone finds it useful.
Cheers
Neil
