inspiron 6000 keyboard spare part

Hi,

I have an inspiron 6000 laptop. For the last 6 months the keyboard is acting funny...

 

The "\" key appears everywhere I type:)

 

For example I want to type a web address, if I don't delete the backslash characters, it will look like this:

 

ww\w.de\\\\\\ll.com

 

It is pretty annoying, and I don't know the cause... It cannot be a stuck key issue, because I have knocked off the "\" key from the keyboard hoping that it will bring an end to my sufferings... I was wrong... (my bad:))

 

The problem still persists...

 

what do you think? Should I replace the keyboard? Could there be any reason other than a simple keyboard fault?

 

assuming that I need a new keyboard, where can I get the spare parts? Apparently, there isn't any info on that on the Dell Singapore. (Yeah, I live in Singapore; somewhere far far away from US:))
