Dell lattitude e6320 wont charge, error code 2000 0131
Hi everyone
My name is rifki
So this question related to my last post but its fine if you not read its ok
So my laptop wont charge, when the adapter plugged in, the battery icon light for half a sec then turn off when the power button is pressed nothing happen, at first the battery was fine but currently the battery power is 0% so its pretty much useless
Even though it wont charge sometimes the laptop able to turn on for 2 minutes before its suddenly turn off again and yesterday i used that time to do a diagnostic test the result was an error code: 2000 0131, after i search through dell troubleshoot guide the last solution is to update the BIOS , the problem is the laptop doesnt have enough fot me to go to the browser, download the update and install it.
My question is ,is there a way for me to keep the laptop stay on ?at least enough time to update the bios
Apologies for my poor english
Thank you

That error means the battery is not detected. More than likely the battery has reached the end of it's life and needs to be replaced. Now as for updating the BIOS with a dead battery...Do Not. Any loss of power no matter how brief will result in a failed BIOS update and a bricked motherboard. And if you are not sure that a BIOS update would correct the problem then do not attempt it. Basically you need a healthy fully charged battery to update a BIOS. This forum page has more information.
