Driver for Latitude 7200 2-in-1 UCM-UCSI ACPI Device

Latitude 7200 2-in-1

Latitude 7200 2-in-1

Hi! On Device Manager,  UCM-UCSI ACPI is disabled, error message: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".

I uninstalled the driver and it installed automatically after. The error persists. Hardware IDs are:

ACPI\VEN_USB&DEV_C000

ACPI\USBC000

*USBC000

Not sure this has anything to do with my other thread here https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/latitude/latitude-7200-2-in-1-usb-c-power-issue/650d731536582e4e4f7a0fff

Please, any advice on how to solve this is welcome. :)

I resolved the issue: shut down the computer and then press the Power button during 50 seconds. Somehow it will solve the UCM-UCSI ACPI Device issue. I restarted the computer a couple of times and the driver issue does not come back. Issue solved.

Solution by Zephyrus, worked also on his Lenovo https://www.reddit.com/r/ZephyrusG14/comments/kr1hkr/any_one_have_ucmucsi_acpi_device_and_usbc_not/?rdt=60117

This might be a problem with the USB C port. Testing the hardware with the Dell Hardware Diagnostics would be a good next step in identifying the problem - How to Run a Preboot Diagnostic Test on a Dell Computer | Dell UK

Thank you. I did the Preboot Diagnostic Test, everything is fine, no issues. Also, I updated the BIOS to 1.24.0 and the driver issue code 43 persists.

I checked the tab Events for this driver and I can see it is started, configured, but then it will be deleted automatically, please check image below:

Any idea on how to solve this is welcome!

As simple as clearing the power! Glad you got it resolved.
