Wireless mouse for Dell Latitude 7280

I have bought a Dell Wireless mouse recently which I assumed that it would come with a USB/Dongle...well, it didn't so I bought a wireless USB Dongle that came with a CD...The CD is necessary for the installation. My Dell Latitude 7280 does not have a CD drive. So I downloaded the drive from the company website (xmpow.com/drivers), however I cannot install it / run it...which means that both my mouse and Dongle are useless..Which wireless mouse and USB Dongle do I need to buy that's compatible for my computer?

Which Dell wireless mouse?

It may be that it works on Bluetooth.

There was no USB in the box, that's for sure. Mind you, I'm based in the UK and I made the order from the UK website. Not sure if that made any difference..What do I need to do now? Which wireless mouse is compatible with my laptop? Which one do I need to buy?

You need to contact Dell in the UK to let them know that it is missing the USB dongle which is the receiver.

You can buy any wireless mouse. They all come with dongles.

If your laptop has Bluetooth, then you can also buy a Bluetooth mouse which won't come with a dongle since it will work with the built-in Bluetooth.

I received the following private message from Dell: Re: You’ve received a private message from Dell Community Forum Hi, We see that you are already communicating with one of the community members regarding the adapter, and I noticed that you mentioned that the USB receiver is missing on the Dell WM126 mouse. Could you help us with the purchase details of this mouse so that we can review it further and assist you? I tried replying, however the "reply" button was missing on the private messenger page, hence I could not reply and I'm retyping my response here in the hope that someone from Dellreads it... Certainly, please find details below, let me know if you need any further info: Invoice No: Customer No: Dell Order No:

You may want to try a different web browser when using the Dell forum.

Instead of PM'ing Dell here, just call Dell UK   https://www.dell.com/support/order-status/en-uk/order-support

It doesn't make any difference and there is no order support in the UK website as far as I can see, whenever I click the Order Support tab it just leads me to the Order History page..Dell is shockingly bad
