WSL (Windows Subsytem for Linux) E6410 X-windows support
I have a E6410. Works fine for most tasks.
I am running WSL2. I want to run graphical user interface applications such as vim-gtk and Nautilus.
Microsoft specified I should install a new graphic driver gfx_win_101.3790_101.2114.
The driver application claims there is no driver for the E6410.
If anyone has an idea of how I can install a driver that WSL can communicate with for X-window applications, please let me know.

That's a pretty old system with an old CPU (and therefore GPU) that doesn't fully support Windows 10 (a requirement for WSL).
Even if you can get the GPU to work, it's going to be very slow going -- if you have a newer system, it would be a far better candidate for virtualizing Linux under Windows.

Not helpful. I have had X windows working on this 6410, while at Cisco. I installed some Xserver which I forgot the brand of I used Putty and ssh tunneling to display Xapps on the screen. I notice no real lags or problems. I used to run X-windows on Sun Sparc-1 back in the Early 90's why would those old slow machines be more capable than a machine that is 25 years younger?
I just haven't yet figured out how to run this set up WSL and SSH tunneling to Xwindows on the same machine.
Thanks for your input, but I am an old fogey and I like my old machine.
