Aurora-R4, Thermal Control Fan Question
Hello All,
The fans have been going crazy lately, running at very high RPM's. Lately, but when you look in Thermal Controls System is 0 RPM and 0% (is that normal)? It feels like my Liquid Cooling is not working. I took the cooling apart and nothing was plugged, I updated Bios and Command Center, but idle seems hot to me and fans will rev up like crazy at time. If I play a game like Payday 2 then go nuts. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. What is a good aftermarket cooling system that I could put in my system without any issues?
Thanks for your time,

Well ok thanks, as I stated in my first post I checked all of that and uninstalled the command center and reinstalled, updated bios, fans are fine. So thanks for the generic answer, I ordered a new liquid cooling system, and not the 200.00 OEM that Dell tries to sell you. So for 65.00 she runs cooler than ever.

First of all I will recommend you to check the actual temperatures of the system just to make sure there is no problem with the fans.
Then uninstall the command center, perform a power drain and then download the latest version from the support site and installed.
And on regards to the liquid cooling system, since we don’t recommend modifying the systems first make sure is working properly and change it only if it’s necessary.

To help other users that might want to replace our Liquid Cooling assembly, what specific 3rd party liquid cooling system did you install in the Aurora-R4?

I put the Corsair H55 in her, took about 15 minutes, did not have
to do anything just simple install. So far temps seem steady and cool...
