X51 Stopped Working

Hello, I have a X51. It was working fine last night, but this morning I pressed the power button, it suddenly rejected a music CD from its Blu-ray drive then kept making sound of the mortar still trying to reject something inside of the drive. So I pressed the power button for several seconds to turn off the computer. Tried to boot again, it gave me a tiny beep sound, nothing on monitor, no mortar sound (except of fans). Could anyone give me any idea what's wrong with it? :S

Hi,

I would suggest you to unplug the power cable and hold the power button for 20 seconds to discharge “Static Flea Power”. Plug in the power cable and turn on your computer.

Please keep a note of the following things:

1. Beep Codes
2. Power button LED status

In case the computer turns on, please perform the steps below to initiate the diagnostics:

1. Restart the computer and tap the F12 key to access One Time Boot Menu
2. Highlight Diagnostic and hit Enter
3. Diagnostics would get initiated

Please make a note of the error code, if you get any.

Thanks & Regards

Thank you DELL-Manshu S,

I tried discharging Static Flea Power, several times, but this didn't help it seems.

1. Beep Codes: There is only one very short beep (more like a short "pip" time signal sound).

2. Power button LED status: The button's LED is bright white.

The monitor works fine with another computer. I have used some other electric outlets, didn't help.

Regards,

Thank you very very much Natalia J,

This time I connected the computer via DVI, and I saw no problem but "sytem recovery yes/no" screen. :P

Thank you again to all of you. :)
