On CNET, most of the negative user comments point to its instability. Oddly enough, it is not available for downloading there at the present. I use WinMX and although its database is much smaller, it is very stable and actually offers more bells and whistles than Napster did. No ads, no spyware (so far)...

I would not touch Kaaza and Bearshare with a ten foot pole. Both are full of spyware. It appears that Aimster does not have any spyware. It might be a good choice.

I wasn't suggesting that Harleychick should download Kaaza or Bearshare. I simply posted a link to where information on Aimster could be found. Jeeesh!
