Black screen when booting from USB

I bought Dell Precision Tower 5810 3-4 weeks ago. Today I tried to install Ubuntu from USB flash drive and made the machine boot from USB, then the screen went black. My video card is Nvidia NVS 310. Why did the screen go black? Is there a way to solve it?

Thank you!

There is support for Ubuntu and other Linux Distro's but its not free.

https://www.canonical.com/services

The dell forum is not UBUNTU Support.

Which version?   Install Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS

In GRUB, choose advanced options for Ubuntu and boot with secure mode

Install NVIDIA drivers. Open blacklist.conf and blacklist

blacklist vga16fb

blacklist nouveau

blacklist rivafb

blacklist nvidiafb

blacklist rivatv

blacklist i2c-designware-platform

blacklist i2c-designware-core

Thank you for the answer! However, I don't think it's the Ubuntu's problem, because I was just trying to install it from USB and the screen went black just when the computer was booting from USB (which means the installation didn't start). The version of Ubuntu is 16.04.3 LTS.
