If it ain't broke don't fix it?
In my Sytem Manager when I click on Device Manager there is a yellow question mark that says Other Devices. When I click on that there is something called PCI communication Device. It has a yellow exclamation point in front of the listing. The information in there is:
General Tab -
Device Type: Other Devices
Manufacturer: None Specified
Hardware version: 000
Device Status
The drivers for this device are not installed(code28). To reinstall the drivers click Reinstall Driver
Device Usage: the box marked "Exists in all hardware profiles" is checked
Driver Tab -
Provider:
Date:
(both blank)
No driveres are required or have been loaded for this divice. To update drivers..click Update Drivers.
Resource Tab -
No conflicts
I'm not having any problems, right now. And I believe it has been this way since Sept. '99, when I (or by itself) crashed the computer.
Should I just forget about this and go on my merry way?
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
