Alienware m18x r2 AlienFX problem

When I configure a multiple color morphing theme for multiple zones, the alienfx works fine in windows and when the system is in full boot. However, and this was now just recently, when I start my m18x, only one or two zones of the keyboard illuminate, and the rest are turned off. No other zones illuminate until I log into windows and then the alienfx controller starts. 

However, when I create a basic theme with one color in all zones, the m18x starts with all zones illuminated. Also, when I create an advanced theme with only two colors morphing in the keyboard, the system starts fully illuminated in all zones. It is only when I add multiple colors (more than 3 to each zone) that it does not start properly.

One more detail. When I have the multiple color (more than two morphing in multiple zones) theme selected and running and I restart the system using ac power, sometimes it will start with all zones on the system illuminated, but then the lights turn off and only two zones on the keyboard are lit. When it is on dc power, or just the battery, it never starts with all zones lit, but instead just has two zones on the keyboard lit.

This has not happened in the past, and recently popped up after I took the battery out of the system and took the service cover off of the bottom. Then I unscrewed the hard drive but did not take it out. I was trying to add another hard drive, but I found out that I had not formatted it, so I did NOT disconnect the cable that connects the hard drive to the motherboard. Instead, I just screwed the four screws that secure the hard drive in and put the service cover back on, screwed the four screws in that secure the service cover to the bulk of the computer, and put the battery back in. Then this problem surfaced.

I need help! I would like to get it back to where my computer will start regularly with the multiple zone color morphing. It just bugs me that it is not the same as when I received the system.
