Problems with D505 and Linux Framebuffer at boot time
Im having some problems to setup a linux framebuffer in a D505.
I think the main reason is that the BIOS doesnt allow you to specify the amount of memory used by the video card in the boot time.
Have anybody had this kind of problem? Is there a workaround?
Thanks in advance.

If you are using Grub to load linux, then you edit the menu.1st file and edit the vga=788 line. Change it to vga=791.
That should fix it.
