screen display went from horiz. to vertical??
Hi,
My wife fired up her inspiron 1300 this morning and the screen went from normal horizontal display to a vertical display....?? Any ideas on how/where to rectify this?
Weve so far looked in a few obvious places, but no way is apparent to change it back to horiz.
Thanks in advance for any input.

awesome....the cntrl + alt+ arrows worked right away.
she figures it must have happened when she was try a cntrl+alt+delete to shut a non-responding program down.

alternately look in display properties>settings>advanced >intel graphics card and in there you should find how to rotate your screen.

I remember a funny story that someone posted in the past about his cat walking on his keyboard and found the screen rotated after that. he thought the laptop was cursed!
