Vostro 3550
I am considering buying the Vostro 3550 with the essential configuration -- 2nd generation Core i3 processor, Windows Home Premium 64-bit, and 2GB of RAM for $499.00
Does anyone have any experience with this configuration? I am particularly interested in whether 2GB of RAM is adequate. I will be using the computer for browsing the web, watching short web streaming video clips on YouTube and news sites, e-mail, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and TurboTax.

Hi Barkupatree2002,
Welcome to the Community. I see you usage is very basic. So the above configurations would work for your particular usage. If you want it a bit faster just add another GB of RAM, so 3 GB in total.
