1908FP, in game resolution issues

Hello, my friend is having trouble opening a game. What happened was that in the moment he put the game on fullscreen the game stopped opening. The message that appears when trying to open the game is: "1: auto detect (analog input) cannot display this video mode optimum resolution 1280x1024 60Hz.". We tried to change the game's resolution (downloaded by the Xbox Game Pass), without success. We contacted Microsoft support, but they couldn't help us. We also searched the game's forums and found nothing. We believe that the problem occurs because it is a 13 year old monitor, but we have no other to test.
