2405fpw & Command Prompt issues

I know this will likely generate many "what are you doing that for" replies, but whenever I set a windows command prompt shell to display as 'full window', the screen just goes black... alt-tab gets me back to my desktop, but if I try to switch to the full-screened command prompt window it just stays black... any ideas?

Here is some added information: If I am using the DV-I out on my video card to the DV-I in on the 2405 I get the black screen... however, if I use a DV-I -> D-sub converter to connect the DV-I out on the card to the D-SUB input on the monitor the full screen comman prompt works fine (well, except for some spacing around the edges that I can live with)... however there is a noticable quality/brightness difference with the overall picture when I do that...

I just tried it on my system (P4, GeForce 6600GT running ForceWare 78.01 drivers) and it worked fine.

Perhaps try upgrading video drivers?

I've got the latest drivers... for the 2405 fpw monitor and my video card (ATI AIW 9700 Pro)

It's annoying because I've got an old-school dos game that I like to play a few times a week and it goes to full screen when it starts.

I cant play it on my 2405 which I am otherwise very pleased with.

I get the same thing with my Radeon 8500.  I think it is an ATI problem.  Have you tried the latest Cat drivers?  The did not help me.
