Dual Monitor Arm MDA20, not level

I have installed the Dell Dual Monitor Arm MDA20.

The monitors do not sit level. They both slope down to the right a full centimeter when they 'click' into place for the landscape or portrait mode. I have to nudge them out of the 'positive click' position but if I bump them they snap back into their 'fixed' rotation position and are crooked again.
I cannot find any adjustments on the orientation swivel. Any suggestions?

Was this MDA20 purchased directly from Dell Canada?

What two monitors are you attaching to the MDA20?

Is the desk mount level prior to attaching the arms?

I have the same issue and just reported it. The rotating landscape<>portrait mechanism has 'positive' seating indents but they are off-level. I see no way to correct it.

  • @DELL-Chris M Yes. I purchased the device directly from Dell
  • Attached are two U2724D monitors
  • Yes. The desk and the mount are level.

Remove the monitors from the MDA20 monitor arms. That exposes the monitor arm brackets. What are the non-private 20 digit serial numbers on the labels? Looks like this one =

@DELL-Chris M The number is CN-OCFYGO-VDGOX-4B7-B021-A00

It is identical to your label except the date which states "Nov 2024"

OK. Does the MDA20 have a label anywhere on it with a Service Tag? If yes, do not post it here in public.

@DELL-Chris M What does a service tag look like? Other than the stickers you indicated I don't see anything else. Where would it be located on the monitor arms?

It appears that MDA20 do not have a Service Tag. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. The GHN agent will need your Dell order number and Dell customer number.

* On right scroll down to, "Send this user a direct message"
* Provide to them your MDA20 Dell Order number
