Getting sound using HDMI to DVI connection
I have a Playstation 3 that I am trying to connect to my Dell W2306C 23" LCD TV. I purchased a HDMI to DVI adapter and I am getting great picture, but no sound. I know the DVI connection does not support sound, but is there a possible workaround. Thanks

If the PlayStation has separate audio jacks you will need to connect these to the TV or if is has a coax or digital output connector and the same on the TV that will give you the audio

If your TV has a "TOSLINK" or Optical Connection you would use that directly from your TV to the PS3.
If your TV has red/white input then you could use the standard av(or PS2 AV) cable and just connect the red/white to the tv.
If your TV has a headphone jack, follow the same steps for red/white(RCA) and apply a RCA -> 3.5mm conversion adapter(Radioshack).
In your PS3 settings the video will be set to HDMI, the audio setting will be either the digital out or the standard out(forgot name for their analog audio setting).
