"I'm only using the dell monitor (P2425H) as a second monitor"
I understand now. Your statement above made me think that you were using two external monitors. I see now that you are counting the Acer LCD as monitor 1 and P2425H as monitor 2.

Acer Swift 3 SF314-43 HDMI out port --> P2425H HDMI to HDMI cable --> P2425H #3 HDMI in port
Acer Swift 3 SF314-43 USB-A port --> P2425H USB-A to USB-B upstream cable --> P2425H #7 USB-B upstream port
Soundbar USB-A connector --> P2425H bottom #8 USB-A downstream port next to #7

* On the Windows 11 desktop, right click the speaker icon, click Sound settings
* On System > Sound -> Output, click P2425H HDMI

Our users need more data before they can troubleshoot =

* What Laptop model?
* What operating system?
* What video out ports are on the Laptop?
* How is the first monitor connecting to the Laptop using which cable and ports?
* How is the second P2425H connecting to the Laptop using which cable and ports?

Hi, @DELL-ChrisM2

The laptop is an Acer Swift 3 (SF314-43), Windows 11.

There are USB-A and an HDMI ports, and I was using a HDMI cable to connect the monitor (P2425H) to the laptop.

Just to clarify, there is no computer tower attached. I'm just using the P2425H as a monitor.
