S2721NX, setup assistance
Hi, I purchased two of these S2721NX for my kids for Christmas but I am not totally sure how to set them up.
Here are my questions:
1. I know that they do not have integrated speakers, but there is a headphone jack, so I assume that there is an audio signal, just no speakers to play it through. That said, can I plug in free-standing speakers through the headphone jack to get the signal to play through the speakers?
2. There are two HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs on this S2721NX. Am I correct in running an output from the Chromebook to the monitor input? For a clip-on webcam (Logitech C920S HD), do I need to run that as an input from the S2721NX to the webcam OR do I need the webcam to run as an output from the Chromebook to the webcam input?
3. Finally, should I get a USB expansion hub to set all of this up or is it not necessary? I am trying to make it as easy as possible and with minimal cables, but if a hub will make that easier, I am not against it. If yes, what is the minimum electrical requirement?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! I am not entirely computer challenged, but when it comes to a setup like this, I'm a mom who could use some help!

Online S2721NX User's Guide.
Page 10 shows us that the port is "Audio Line-out port", but does not support headphones. So yes, you would plug external powered speakers into that port. The Chromebook plugged into one one of the S2721NX HDMI in ports (1 or 2) would "control" the source audio into the S2721NX.
If the Chromebook is plugged into S2721NX HDMI 1, press the second from left Input Source button and select HDMI 1. See page 37.
If the Chromebook is plugged into S2721NX HDMI 2, press the second from left Input Source button and select HDMI 2.
The S2721NX does not have any USB downstream ports. So the Logitech C920S HD must be plugged into the source (PC, Chromebook) USB port. You would mount the Logitech C920S HD on top of the S2721NX.
Concerning a USB hub, if the Chromebook has an HDMI out port and a USB port, you should not need a USB hub.
