S2725QC, stand will not stay down

Question

I bought an S2725QC today. I brought it home and assembled the stand and decided to check the adjustments before attaching the monitor. I’m able to rotate and tilt, but the vertical adjustment does not work. I can adjust it downward, but it won’t stay down and there’s no button or mechanism to latch it in place. Has anyone run into this and been able to resolve it?

The panel must be attached to the Stand riser. The weight of the panel on the Stand riser should keep it in the lowered position.S2725QC User's Guide page 55 =
