SE2723DS, macOS (All Versions), Total lack of support or drivers.
Dell SE2723DS
Firstly, I recognise that there's a FAQ post pinned to this forum that outlines lack of support for displays under macOS.
That being said, I fail to understand how a company, as large as Dell, can neglect an entire use base without any apparent basis, other than no desire to provide assistance for these products out of choice, not technical limitations.
The monitor in question was released within the past 2 years and software, such as DDM is available under Windows 11. Why is this software not available under any recent macOS versions? There's zero indication on the product specification page that these will effectively be abandoned for Mac users and that's a huge shame, as they're truly wonderful displays.
Realistically, this is an appeal to Dell technicians and developers to please release a driver and support for these displays. A blanket statement of "we don't support these displays" is really not fair, especially with zero pre-warning to users.
Some of the functionality of the DDM can be achieved with "BetterDisplay" or "MonitorControl", which are third party applications for macOS.. but if they can do it, why doesn't Dell provide an official utility to achieve the same thing, rather than to leave us high and dry?

Dell expects Apple users to purchase the high end Dell Ultra displays starting with part number U, rather than entry level SE models.
Seams a sensible compromise to providing support for Apple
See if the U models have the functions you require
