Is the factory USB 3.0 A-B upstream cable special or can it be replaced with any commercially available cable? * It needs to be USB 3.0. Some of them are only USB 2.0. * Dell has never tested 3m/9.8ft cabling with any of our monitors. The U2413 cable is 1.8m/5.9ft
DDC/CI must be Enabled in the Menu- Other Settings.
OK. Last step would be this no cable/power button reset to see if it helps =
* Turn the computer off * Turn the U2413 off * Disconnect every cable (including the power cable) from the U2413 * Press the U2413 power button in for 8 seconds (clears any residual power in the circuits) * Reconnect the power cable and one video cable to the U2413 and computer * Turn the computer on, then the U2413 and retest

Hi, I bought an 1.8m USB 3.0 A/B cable, but still no connection.
If I put USB stick or SD card into the monitor it cannot seen in the list of disk drivers.
Also there is no change in the Device manager Universal Serial Bus controller node.
I've tried several ports in my laptop, all of them is USB 3, one of them is power USB.
DDC/CI is enabled.
Any suggestion?

It could just be a faulty U2413. What is the build date on the rear label?
