U2721DE, cannot install driver?
Hi forum,
I just wanted to install the drivers for the U2721DE - so I downloaded them, started the installer - and nothing happened.
Even though the monitor identified correctly - it failed to install. Any hints on why that would be?

BTW: I've attached the monitor to a Dell Latitute 5501 running Windows 10 Enterprise Version 2004 (via USB-C of course).

I have same issue. Cannot manually install driver from device manager either. I have a Dell Precision 7510 laptop with Windows 10.

My Windows operating system kept reporting that I had the best driver for my screen, namely the "Standard PnP".
I had downloaded the Dell Driver just like you and the driver resided in:
C:\Dell\Drivers\YT0V8
I circumvented that barrier using the information in "Solution 6 - Disable Driver signature feature" found here: https://windowsreport.com/the-best-driver-software-is-already-installed-windows-10/
and was able to install the driver for both HDMI and DP connections.
I hope the same procedure can help you
