U2723QE, USB-C to DP port with 90w

If I plug my Mac Mini into this monitor via the USB-C to DP port, which has 90W on the port, will it harm the MacMini by pushing 90w to it?

Or will either the monitor or Mac stop that because the Mac Mini has its own power?

Thanks!

Shouldn’t do. It’s meant to hand shake to determine the requirements.

if you are worried, you can turn it off in the monitor menu

Cant seem to edit that comment.  Anyhow the monitor is a Dell U2723QE.

@Andy K it worked fine.  I called Apple.

Also I believe you can only turn off the power at the monitor when it is off and not on.  So if you turn off the power to the monitor, does it still provide power out to USB devices.  You can change that feature if you want.
