U2724DE, intense screen flickering

Hi Dell Team,

I bought this Dell U2724DE a few days ago, and I'm experiencing really intense screen flickering. It was really bad (almost constant) when I used the out-of-the-box DP cable that came with the monitor, after which I switched it out for an [ALOGIC 2M 1.2 DP cable] which seemed to fix it for a day or two, but the flickering has since returned (although slightly less frequently - a flickering episode every few minutes maybe; see attached video).

What could be the problem / do we have ideas for a solution?

My exact set-up for reference:

• DP1.2 from PC to Dell U2724DE
• Daisy-chaining to a LG25MS500 via: Dell U2724DE -> [active DP-to-HDMI adapter] -> HDMI-to-HDMI cable -> LG25MS500
  ([DP-to-HDMI is this one specifically: https://www.amazon.com.au/Plugable-DisplayPort-Supports-displays-3840x2160/dp/B00S0C7QO8/?th=1)
• and a bunch of peripherals plugged in (mouse, speakers, TB4-to-laptop, Qi charger, etc.)
