U3225QE, dual, KVM, PC and Mac
Hello
I just got a U3225QE today. I am wondering if the built-in KVM supports switching two displays when there is a downstream monitor. It looks like you might be able to run parallel downstream connections over DisplayPort and Thunderbolt.
The configuration would be:
PC -> DisplayPort ->\ /-> DisplayPort -> U3225QE (2) U3225QE (1) Mac-> Thunderbolt ->/ \-> Thunderbolt -> U3225QE (2)
If the input source is switched on the KVM from DisplayPort to Thunderbolt, will the downstream monitor also switch or would that need to be switched separately? It looks like the second monitor could be left with auto select enabled and things should be tickety-boo.
Anyone, tried this setup?
Thanks!

Or could it be configured such that this would work?
This is undoubtedly a stupid question, but I can't parse the discussion of MST in the manual.
Thanks!

I would think your second setup (with one cable between monitors), would be the one to try
