Best mini-pci wireless card
I have a 3 year old Inspiron 700m with the Intel wireless 2200 bg card and would like to know if there are better cards on the market. Maybe something with better range and "N" capabilities?
I'm running Windows XP Pro with 2 gig memory....

N cards usually require more than two antennas, so I'm not sure if they'd work with your computer. There are some higher powered speciality pc-cards (and mini-pci cards) out there (g, not n) that might provide greater range if that's your main concern.
Google turns up a fair amount of hits for 200mw pc-cards (or mini-pci), fewer hits for 300mw, and even a few extremely priced results for 500mw.

Good point about the need for three antennas, never thought about that.
I guess thats why my Belkin router has multiple antennas.....
I'll try an Ebay search and see what comes up.
Anyone out there tried upgrading their card?
