DRAC5 and Firefox?

I have a new 1950 and am unable to get the DRAC5 working with FireFox, specifically the virtual media and console plugins. Tried both Windows and Linux Firefox.

Is there a list somewhere of supported browsers for DRAC5?

I'm unable to get any Firefox 1.5+ working.

Is there a new bios for the drac or somewhere I can download an updated FF plugin?

Well at least Firefox plugin code is platform independant:

Environment Overview

It will be beneficial to setup your computer for the development process before you dive in. This section will help you do just that. Fortunately for developers and users alike, extensions written for Firefox are platform independent. This means that you may code your extension on whichever operating system you are most comfortable with (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux).

So is there any update on this? Dell?

1.0.x is a legacy branch in terms of Mozilla release engineering.

Yeah, I've run into the same thing too. I can suggest trying SeaMonkey, but results there can be sporadic. I assume that when a firmware update for the DRAC5 is released, this might take ff1.5 or ff2 into account. For right now WindoZe is your best bet.

This is just a weekly update to.

I'm almost certain this continues to remain untouched by Dell only support RHEL AS4/WS4/ES4, which are running some decrepit version of firefox:

Mozilla Firefox 1.0.2
+ MandrakeSoft Linux Mandrake 10.2 x86_64
+ MandrakeSoft Linux Mandrake 10.2 x86_64
+ MandrakeSoft Linux Mandrake 10.2
+ MandrakeSoft Linux Mandrake 10.2
+ RedHat Desktop 4.0
+ RedHat Desktop 4.0
+ RedHat Enterprise Linux WS 4
+ RedHat Enterprise Linux WS 4
+ RedHat Enterprise Linux ES 4
+ RedHat Enterprise Linux ES 4
+ RedHat Enterprise Linux AS 4
+ RedHat Enterprise Linux AS 4

And the RHEL business model doesn't permit for release engineering branch changes. So in reality, this is a lot of Redhat's fault.

Firefox 2.0 has been out for about two weeks. Still no word from Dell on an update.

For the heck of it, i loaded FF 1.0.8 on a Win32 machine to test. Nothing on the serial console.

Why does dell list the FFWin32 1.0.5+ as supported? Console redirection doesn't load. Remote media obviously doesn't work.
