Help!! need wireless card for Latitude PCi D266XT

Question

Hi,

I am new to laptops and bought an old used Latitude PCi.
It has a card slot on the side, but all the cards I see for it look like they are "wired" ethernet. (Dongle???)
Is there a WIRELESS 16 bit ethernet card that will work for this machine?
HELP!!

If you can suggest specific models I'll be able to shop it online.

Also, would a USB wireless adapter like the Netgear MA111 802.11b Wireless USB Ethernet Adapter work for me?

What wireless access point of your own (home or work) are you wanting to connect with?

I assume you want the wireless to work at home as well as on the road. I have no experience with WiFi through USB adapter. If it were mine, I might be inclined to get DLink PC card since I already would have the DLink wireless access point.

I agree, I don't want to mix brands, but I understand that the latitude CPi has a 16 bit buss and all the commercal wifi cards I see are 32bit.
The only thing I found was this

and can't imagine why a wireless card needs a cable.
