Inspiron 1520 wireless mini card problems
The wireless connection fails constantly, and I've bought another wireless mini card (DP/N omx846), to try but it has not worked. It comes up with error 10.
Once installed there is no internet connection at all, so I can not try and get drivers for this card. I am now wondering if its compatible with my laptop.
This card is a 802.11n network adapter.
Which cards are compatible if this one turns out not to be ?

I've found out that the new card I fitted is a Broadcom 802.11n Network adapter, and the original card which does connect to the internet, is a 802.11g.
So this may be the reason for it not working.
Windows says it has installed driver successfully, and it encountered a problem when it tried to run.
I will check my router, but I think its not on 802.11n.
I still would like to know of any good 802.11 cards.
Thank goodness for this forum, I'm learning as I read !
