Hello all, i just wanted to know if i could put PC card 802.11 B and G into the Dell TrueMobile 1170. Anyone could answer this? thanks ALL...   Chan

It wouldn't kill the 1170 to see if it would work but my money says no - there would be no driver support in the router firmware.  Now if you wanted to reverse-engineer the firmware and replace the driver.....

The answer is no without much very difficult re-engineering and software writing.

Hmmm...I wonder if the code in the 1170 is covered by the GPL, like some (but unfortunately not all) of the code in the 1184? Not that we ever figured out to do about some of its problems! Jim
