When browsing to the Dell forum (e.g., https://www.dell.com/community/en/topics/supportassist-for-pcs) I occasionally see a Network Protocol Error in my default Firefox browser.  When this happens I can usually connect by refreshing the page or browsing to the forum in a new browser tab, but when that doesn't work I just wait an hour or so and am able to connect to the forum again.

According to my 29-May-2026 post in my topic Repeated Failures to Post Replies my connection problems started back in May 2026.

In Firefox my Enhanced Tracking Protection is set to Strict and my DNS resolver is Cloudflare.  I clear two items in my browsing history ("Cookies and site data" and "Temporary cached files and pages" only) every time I close my browser.

I don't know if it's relevant, but I created an exception for https://www.dell.com/ at Privacy and Security | Browsing Data | Manage Exceptions as instructed in the Mozilla Firefox support article Manage local site storage settings over a year ago to try to fix an issue with two-step verification during my login to the forum - see my 02-Oct-2024 post in DafelubidTimipoju's How to turn off one time password email to login.  Perhaps that's why a page refresh or opening a new tab sometimes resolves my connection error.
