7020 plus PSU upgrade
Hello, I have a 2024 optiplex 7020 plus with the i7 14700 in it and the 260 watt bronze psu. I want to uprgrade it and put as better gpu in it but I need a better powersupply since there is no extra 8 pin pcie connector on the current psu. The psu I found has this part number: L500EPS-01 Y4CXG. I was wondering if this would be compatible with an 8 pin gpu?

Yes, the Y4CXG PSU is compatible with your system and it has 8-pin for graphics card.

Chino already helping OP here. I just have a question for OP. It is not clear whether the 7020 plus is tower or SFF. Dell oem psu for tower is 260 or 500, for SFF is 260 or 300w. Reason why SFF cannot use 500w psu is physical restriction of silm case.
If OP has tower, no issue w upgrade to 500w psu
