Dell optiplex 760 issue

My dad's friend has an old optiplex 760 and he told that it wouldn't turn on so I decided to have a look. I have above average knowledge abt computers just as an fyi. After looking into it, I noted down everything that seemed abnormal.

  1. The computer turns on with the codes 1 3 and 4 lit up.
  2. After like 10 seconds, the fan stops spinning, power light goes off and after a sec or so, it would turn back on
  3. I noticed a orange light on the motherboard as well. Below the light its written "AUX PWR" so idk abt that

Tried to connect this pc to a monitor but it wouldnt work and the monitor says no signal How should I go abt trying to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

First thing you need to do is replace cmos battery with a new battery then clear CMOs settings by motherboard RTCRST jumper (stands for real time clock reset).

steady on orange led on motherboard is normal. It is supplied by 5Vsb of psu.

if you have a working desktop you can borrow its 24/4 pin psu to test the 760.

@redxps630

Actually the cmos battery is already brand new replaced and there's already 2 ram sticks in the 3 and 4 slots.

try clear cmos via jumper.  install only one ram in DIMM1.
