Dell USB-C card with DP IN port
Recently acquired a Dell Optiplex 7060 MT, with GTX 1050 (Dell pn 24K8H), and a card called "ASSY,CRD,I/O,USB3.1,PCIE,FH" Dell pn 6G7FY).
This card has 3 ports (2 usb-c and one Display Port port). The two USB-C parts have a rectangle around them labelled "OUT", and the Display Port has a rectangle around in labelled "IN". (Note that one of the USB-C ports has a DP label, both have the USB symbol with SS).
I cannot find any documentation explaining what the DP IN port is for. Does anyone know or know of any documentation regarding its use?

@DELL-ChrisM2 Thank you! That explains it.
(In summary, in case someone else finds this in the future, the DP IN port is for a video signal from a video card or onboard graphics and this then provides the video signal for the USB-C DP port)

@CCPR The DP IN port on a Dell USB-C graphics card is actually where the graphics card receives the video signal, not for outputting to a monitor. After receiving this signal, the card transmits the image through the USB-C ports in DisplayPort Alt Mode, allowing you to output video via USB-C to a monitor or dock. In other words, it acts as a bridge between the GPU and the USB-C port: if the GPU cable is not connected to the DP IN port, USB-C will still work for data, but there will be no video signal.
