Help upgrading dell 9020 psu.
I’m trying to put a Corsair CX-750M model 75-002019 I have the adapter but the black latch next to the psu is in the way so it won’t go in.

I'm hoping Optiplex 9020 Tower? A little old but at least a 4-digit model-number. Hopefully an Intel-i7 with 16gb ram.
Corsairs are good. 750watt is a good "size" (power-wise).
Just install it best you can. As long as the back of the PS is flush against the frame, screw-holes line up, and you can get at least 3 or the 4 screws in there, you should be good to go.
I didn't go look at the PDF-manual (but you should) but I think I worked on one of these before. They were popular.

@Tesla1856 I removed the latch by removing the spring and pulling the thing out the psu fits perfectly. Just waiting for the atx 24 pin to 8pin adapter to get here. Is there a chance it could fry my computer?

@user_f45062 ,
1. Good work.
2. When using a 3rd-party adapter-cable-harness ... yes, always. I've never really had to use one, so I just generally suggest suggest you obtain from a reliable company.

The latch should be able to be manually depressed to allow for install of a longer non oem ATX psu. OP has removed latch so no longer an issue
