How can I report a possible Intel Wi‑Fi 6E AX211 driver bug?
Hello,
I have a Dell OptiPlex 5000 MFF that came with an Intel Wi‑Fi 6E AX211 160 MHz card. After updating the driver to version 24.20.0.4 on April 29, 2026 via the Dell Command Update, I started getting critical errors in the event log. Sometimes Firefox or the Windows Settings app consumes all available memory until the system becomes unresponsive unless I close the app in time. I reliably reproduced the critical event logs when the PC entered or woke from sleep. The errors stopped after I rolled back the driver in Device Manager. The short version of the log is:
Level: Error
Source: WLAN-AutoConfig
Event ID: 10003
Task Category: None
WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped unexpectedly.
Module Path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\netwtw6e.inf_amd64_25da419ddd4c4513\IntelIHVRouter14.dll
The rolled back version that isn't causing the problem is: 23.160.0.4.
