Optiplex 7060 SFF Case Swap Solution
I have an optiplex 7060 SFF that I want to case swap to an ATX case.
I know the mounting holes in the motherboard won't line up with those on the case, BUT it looks like the mounting plate that supports the motherboard in the 7060 is only held on with a few rivets. If I drill those out, the backing plate should come off and allow me to mount it into an ATX case, then mount the MB to the backing plate.
Has anyone tried this before?

The Optiplex SFF case swaps are very difficult not just for the installation but for the I/O connections as Harbin does not make adapters, that I am aware of, for the SFF. This YouTube video describes the problems and a unique way to overcome them.

@JOcean I've seen that one. But spending another $150 on a new mobo defeats the purpose for the build (sell for a profit).
I think i can overcome pretty much all of the problems by using parts from the sff case like the mb backing plate, pc speaker, an possibly running the original power supply for the mb and a second psu for the graphics card, case fans, etc.
