Optiplex e93839 Mainboard (SFF) in Optiplex XE Case (SFF) ?

Hello,

is it possible to do the above switch without problems? The pictures i saw suggest that only the IO shield is different (and maybe two of the many screwholes are at a different position - which shouldnt be a problem?)

Thanks in advance.

The manual lacks detail for the rear motherboard I/O panel but on most Dell cases that is part of the case, not a removeable insert like standard ATX cases.  Additionally there is no reference to the front panel connections but these can vary from one model to another (many are proprietary and undocumented).

E93839 is a UL safety Regulatory number not a motherboard part number.
