I have a couple of new-to-me Optiplex 7070 micros.  I'm starting from completely new SSDs (no Win image, no Dell-installed software).

The UEFI control panel has a selection for "BIOS Recovery from Hard Drive"; if that's enabled, there's a sub-choice to enable "BIOS Auto-Recovery."

To the best of my understanding, the former choice enables the F12 menu selection to "Flash BIOS" and/or to go into recovery mode if the POST fails and flash from there; whereas the latter one activates recovery mode in case of failure w/o user interacation.

I need to know, please:  Where does that Auto-Recovery expect to find the BIOS file?

I've downloaded the correct file, and validated it via the F12 menu--but I knew where to look, since I'd just copied the file there.  I assume it's got to be placed somewhere in the ESP; and, since there's a /EFI/Dell/logs folder there (looks like logs is where the system diagnostics drops its results), I created /EFI/Dell/bios and put it there.  Easy for me to find, but unless Auto-Recovery does some sort of recursive search on the ESP overall, /EFI folder, or /Dell folder (does it??), it's not going to find the BIOS image unless it knows the directory to look for.

So, where does it look (what path)?  Does it look for a particular filename?
