Windows 10 Fresh Install on Optiplex 7010
I am trying to do a fresh Win10 install on an Optiplex 7010.
I have created a bootable USB drive with the Win10 ISO on it, and have changed the boot up screen so:
- legacy options are disable
- secure boot is disables
- the USB drive is selected as the boot device (UEFI as it only appears there)
Once I apply and exit or restart it gets to the DELL logo and then the screen shows a corrupted image like here:

I have recreated the boot USB a few times and also check the settings on the Boot up option screen, but I must be missing something as I get the same result.
Once I revert back the settings how they were everything starts again fine.
Any ideas what I am missing or messing up?

Did you every resolve this issue, I'm having exactly the same issue?
Either the corrupted image on screen or just black screen.

Post I did last Feb. on Win10 loading on SSD
It should be noted that Win10 DVD will automatically format SSD/HDD. Window may automatically pop up. It may do that for USB loads besides the auto format, but I've never done it that way. A commercial DVD won't degrade over time either.

If USB install isn't working, the easiest way to do it is use a DVD. Make sure in BIOS AHCI is on and Secure Boot off. After loading, turn Secure Boot back on. This also the way I did it. If you want it easy and simple, it's the way to go. I believe BIOS already has Product Key imbedded.

Set F2 Bios SATA OPERATION to AHCI.
Set F2 Bios Secure Boot Mode OFF
Use an OEM WIN10 DVD to F12 boot from.
Boot the DVD.
Run Trouble shooting and then choose command prompt
Run DISKPART
List the DISKS
Select DISK 0
Clean the Disk
Reboot and F12 boot the DVD again and install windows clean.
Install Windows with the "I don't have a key" option or use generic HOME or PRO key to install.
Once booted into windows go online to activate using the Windows 7 COA KEY. All the drivers are in a single cab file that must be downloaded.

Once downloaded move the cab file to the My Documents folder.
In the my documents folder use 7-zip to extract the drivers from the cab file.
Then right click on any yellow ! in device manager and say update my drivers from my pc instead of the internet.
OEM SLP keys cannot be used to activate.
