Is Solutions Enabler a Required Install for EMC Replication Manager
If it is Required, Can SE Run in Proxy Mode?
Is SE required for the Agent?

Fernando already popped out the correct answer over email, but I will post it here for completeness:
You only need SE on the agent hosts, 4 to 6 GTK, and no proxy mode. This is covered in the EMC RM Admin Guide.
