lost IDRAC Enterprise

hi i have lost my Idrac Enterprise license on my Dell r320 server i cant find it in Dell Digital Locker but i do have the server right infront of me and i can Access basic Management i cant transfer ownership of the server from the last owner as i dont know there details

Hello,

 

First thing to do would be to get the service tag in your name.

 

The service tag is personal information tied to an iDRAC Enterprise license and the Owners Account. This is why you should transfer ownership. We wouldn't be able to give someone information about an asset if we cannot verify authorization. That protects the owner and Dell.

 

Typical you would want to transfer ownership to your name with the Ownership Transfer form then look in the Digital Locker to find the license:

It describes what to do for third-party, such as eBay, purchases

If the ownership didn't go through then you will need to contact Customer Care in your region to see if they need more information.

@DELL-Charles R​ few problems i only see 528-10007 : iDRAC7 Express

i cant Transfer Ownership to me as i dont know any of the details of the last owner as i have had it for so long that i cant remember it did have iDRAC7 Enterprise when i got it but one day it disappeared

and all is blank in Dell Digital Locker

and i cant get support as i only have a Email not a phone and Email Contact isnt available for the server

Hello,

 

If you see iDRAC7 Express associated with your service tag, then that is what it was purchased with.
If you purchased and iDRAC Enterprise license then you may need to find the sales receipt.

 

You should transfer the service tag in to your name with the form below..

Fill it out with as much information you can and submit.

From the information you provided it looks like you need to contact Customer Care to see what information they can take for the transfer.   Customer Care for the US/Canada regions is 1-866-795-5597
