Poweredge T320 Systemboard part numbers, differences?

hello,

the idrac controller from my t320 is faulty.

i want to replace the mainboard.

i check the dell part number from the installed board, the part number is 7c9xp.

i swaped the board 4 years ago, the factory dell installed board had the part number w7H8c.

i check ebay and found an new board with the board number 7mhyn.

now i ve the following system board part numbers: 7c9xp, w7H8c, 7mhyn

Where can i get more information about the part numbers?

Are all part numbers, compatible?

thanks

Hi,

7C9XP is the updated mainboard version for T320, V2. Whereas, W7H8C and 7MHYN is version 1 of mainboard.

I do not have any documented information what are the differences between the versions, usually an updated mainboard contains better architecture.

Hi,

If you have obtained DPN# 7C9XP from the existing mainboard that is in the server, I would suggest best to try source for the same mainboard.

Hi,

I do not have the information about the mainboard manufacturing. To my knowledge, it is just an alternative part number. But if you can find the original DPN# 7C9XP, you should continue with replacement.
